1996

I got into the game with the Canadian Federal Government—Canada Revenue Agency. My job? Track the money, make sure the debts got settled—nice and easy if they played along, or the hard way if they didn’t. When enforcement came knocking, let’s just say… we didn’t leave empty-handed.

2016

My wife and I dove into real estate, ready to roll—then got hit hard. Sinkholes, structural issues, cooked books—you name it. Deals crumbled, lessons weren’t cheap. But quitting? Not in our blood. We took our hits, got smarter, and kept building.

2017

Our first hotel deal was meant to be a quick six-month flip—reality had other plans. Poor due diligence led to delays, bleeding costs, and blown budgets. Eighteen months later, we learned the hard way. Next time, we make the rules.

2019

I started coaching on how to buy real estate in the U.S.—teaching people to trust, but verify. Every number, every condition, every promise—sniff out the BS before it sinks the deal.

2022

After seeing the bad, the ugly, and the downright brutal, my partner and I started DD FELLAS to keep investors from getting played or wacked. We teach ‘em to spot the dangers, read the signs, and make smart moves.
